  • Bill Tarmey

I was really shocked and sad to hear of Bill's death on the Lunch Time news even though I knew Bill had suffered with heart problems for several years.
Bill died today 09/11/2012 aged 71.
I've grown up watching Bill on 'the street', I'm sure he will bill sadly missed by many.

    R.I.P Bill.

Sad news, he made Jack Duckworth the great character he was in The Street.
The only thing to look forward to is the past

I am totaly shocked about Bill's sad passing. Bill truly was an incon in Coonation Street I think, and made Jack the character Jack was. I liked Bill's singing too, which was so unquie in Bill's own way.

Very sad indeed, so many hours of my youth were spent laughing at Jack & Vera. Bill will always be remembered as a TV legend. Rest In Peace.
