Very sad news, I had no idea he was even ill.

I read he & Martin Shaw went on an SAS style training course before The Professionals started filming so they would be able to cope with all the action scenes.

It's been said Lewis did so well the recuiters would have shortlisted for the SAS if he had been a full time member of the armed forces!

Sadly missed and most probably remembered as Bodie in The Professionals. But does anybody remember him as the cheeky lodger Gavin slightly before that in the ITV comedy series The Cuckoo Waltz?
