It was announced a while ago on the news, but don't know how yet. So sad, I was such a huge fan in the 1990's. I went to the Bottom live shows, had pretty much every thing on video he'd ever been in, and loads of posters/pictures on my bedroom wall. I was thrilled when he sent me a signed photo once. He truly was a great comedian and actor. Can't believe he's gone: (
Such sad news. Will never forget watching this new BBC2 comedy for the first time when I was 10 years old. Everyone at school was talking about it. Especially Rik. RIP.
Totally gutted when I heard the news the other day, truly one of my childhood heroes. Loved Bottom and although I was too young to see it first time round The Young Ones was awesome too. Loved Rik in Drop Dead Fred, the perfect vehicle for him to showcase his anarchic, crazy comedy, even in those old Nintendo adverts he was great, anyone remember them? RIP Rik Mayall, one of a kind.
Went to see Kate Bush at the Hammersmith Apollo last month,
& my girlfriend took this photo - not far from Hammersmith tube.
The bench has long gone, but there is a campaign to replace it

Are they referring to Ade Edmonson?
sigpic Do you really believe the other side without provocation would launch so many ICBM's, subs and ships knowing that we would have no option to launch as well? It would break our MAD Treaty (Mutually Assured Destruction) not to mention the end of the world as we know it.
