I am really sad to hear about Val's passing.

Though I didn't follow Val's career myself - my Grandad was a big big fan of Val's style of Music - so as much as I know little about Val's Music - growing up hearing my Grandad talk of Val, ruby Murrary etc which helped me to appreciate Val's tallents

I remember he used to sit in a rocking chair on his show on a Sat Evening.Always wore a patterned sweater
