    Never realised to up to a year ago he was born in limerick ireland.
    A book of condolence has been opened in his home city of limerick.

    He had 4 kids 2 girls to boys.

    Really sad news is this.
    He is another i grew up with..
    Ill remember him from his chat show wogan and children in need which he did.

    And indeed heather blankety blank which i forgot he did.

    It is very very sad news about Terry's passing indeed

    I will always always recall Terry as Presenter on The Eurovision Song Contest and of course The Terry Wogan Chat Show/Programme on BBC1 3 times a week

    Very sad news that Terry Wogan has passed away aged 77 after a short but brave battle with cancer.
    I will remember him most for Blankety Blank, his voice over on the Eurovision song contest and hosting Children in need.
