sad to hear about greg lake passing away. its been a bad year for deaths.

Really sad news to wake up to this morning. That's another part of my young life gone listening to all those amazing King Crimson and ELP LPs.
I was there in 2010 at the High Voltage festival to watch ELP's final performance. Couldn't imagine just 6 years later, two thirds of that mega-group would be no longer with us.

Hard to believe but true mate.
Up till this thread was started i never knew who lake was in lake emerson palmer.
So sad after keith emersons passing what a terrible way to go.

I am lost for words as to what to say and I am well, well shocked - I never knew that Greg had passed away this year. What a brilliant song Greg's was with I Believe In Father Xmas indeed. Until recently - say 3 years a-go, I had never heard of the song, but what a beautiful song it is

Do you really believe the other side without provocation would launch so many ICBM's, subs and ships knowing that we would have no option to launch as well? It would break our MAD Treaty (Mutually Assured Destruction) not to mention the end of the world as we know it.
