        Connery was the first James Bond to actually appear in the films - he was probably the definitive James Bond as well out of all the other actors.

        Very sad news, bit at least I was neither shaken or stirred when I found out about it.

          Sad news, as well as being great as James Bond he was also good as Captain Remus, Jimmy Malone and Dr Jones Sr.

            Massive Bond fan right here, very sad news but at 90 he has enjoyed a full and fruitful life...surprisingly perhaps Connery only played Bond for 9 years starring in 7 films if you include the non official Bond Never say never again....R I P Sean

              There’s speculation that The Rock was his final performance as 007 and was my thoughts when I first saw the movie.
