RIP Steve Halliwell - Zak Dingle

Steve who played Zack Dingle on Emmerdale for 3 decades sadly passed on recently aged 77

I don't watch Emmerdale or even am a fan - unless it is "on" or I am waiting for something else to watch or have forgot to switch over, but I am certain Steve was a brilliant actor in the extreme

One thing is certain now - since Lisa Dingle left Emmerdale and now Zak has passed on - Emmerdale will never be the same. Lisa and Zak made their characters and the Dingles to the level that that Family rivaled the Mitchell's on EastEnders as a top Soap Family

Emmerdale has "never been the same again" ever since the word "Farm" was removed from its title and it went "Prisoner: Cell Block H" on us circa 1993-1994 with regards to the storylines.

Still, it's sad news that Steve Halliwell has passed away.

Sad news. I did enjoy him on the show even if I felt I was watching Dingledale at times.
