Didn’t know until recently that Peter Maddocks, creator of the 1980s cartoon series The Family-Ness, Jimbo and the Jet-Set and Penny Crayon died on 20th November, aged 96. He was also well-known for his work on newspaper strips, but he considered the most enjoyable time of his career to be making his BBC trilogy. RIP.
