              Zola Budd smashed the women's 5k record with a time of 14:48. She is of course best known for making Mary Decker Slaney cry at the LA Olympics in 1984 after they feet became entangled.

                    I was too young to remember it, but my parents always remember it was the day we visited Foxton Locks.

                    In a similar way I remember first hearing about the Oklahoma city bomb whle coming back from visting Jodrell Bank.
