I am glad that Casualty has come back to Saturday nights - the coronavirus storyline adds realism to the series at the moment, although I was concerned that it would feel that it may be too satirical, ironic or like a parody, but on the other hand, at this moment in time, it would feel odd and unrealistic that Holby would be the only British hospital not to be affected by COVID-19.

I used to love the Lotus Eaters back in the day so I was elated when I found the series on YouTube... sadly the video quality is just too poor for me to enjoy .
Yep, some YouTube uploaders simply don't care about quality of those videos. That's why I do like to watch videos on another video sharing platform called Utreon. And here is one of my favorites video channels they have, EEVblog with it's recent video here and what I can say after long period of watching videoclips there, Utreon is much interesting than YouTube.

I'm a celebrity...A rather tedious first episode to kick off the new series, the first 45 minutes was the contestants first meeting and attempting to abseil down a cliff, the second half of this 90 minute show was predictably collecting stars whilst having insects dropped on them....BOREFEST!
I usually love this series but I’ve dropped this one .. it’s just tedious .. to confined and dark .

I will wait until the next jungle series

Pity that this year's Children in Need has been pruned back due to COVID, but then again, Wogan was missed again like he will always be now.

It's a pity that they couldn't postpone it for a couple of months at least.

Tried some recentish BBC... Bad Move was actually mildly funny going by just the first episode, hope to see more. There are sparser comedic moments in This Time With Alan Partridge, so more a cause of nothing else being on there. Others that will remain nameless are just not for me, oh for more of Vicious or something like Hippies with Simon Pegg (anyone else remember that?) I still watch Corrie, every time there's a bad patch and you want Mary or Brian or Kirk to get thumped permanently, or that Geoff Metcalfe abuse storyline, something comes along to keep you trying to hang in... but that new Todd doesn't work for me. Really awful story with him in hiding from a gangster at Eileens'.

I have Lotus Eaters on DVD: two sets. I thought it was okay quality. Not a high-definition restoration but not terrible, although the outside filmed bits and opening and closing were more aged looking. I noticed the same with '70s Emmerdale Farm episodes on DVD.

Been watching George Gently with my parents, have to watch for really explicit stories though, skipped one recently... wished I'd skipped one of the early ones. Also watched a four part series on stories of people who were booked on the Titanic and it was quite interesting and informative. People from all decks and levels of crew.
