    Holiday Camps.

    Sadly we were supposed to be back visiting the UK today, in a Holiday Camp in fact, Butlins in Bognor as my parents had booked for us all to stay there for a few days so my young Australian Sons could experience what an old fashioned UK Holiday was like, stupid Corona.

    The camping one you're referring to Zincubus is, I think, Nuts in May starring Alison Steadman and Roger Sloman. It was first broadcast in 1976 as part of the BBC's Play For Today series. Haven't seen the tv series Camping before but I might give it a watch.
