    On a related note, I recently picked up a bakelite picnic set from the 1930s or 40s and made in Britain for £12. Unfortunately the thermos jugs and dinner plates are missing. Whoever previously owned it had substituted modern plastic plates and thermos jugs so I'm now looking for vintage replacements to complete the set.
