The Wicker Man remake was totally unwatchable, I like Nic Cage as an actor but he has made some terrible films, Season of the Witch was another.

another is clash of the titans remake.
no where near in the same league as the amazing original.

Pretty much all films should never be remade.
I don't think that i've ever seen a remake that I liked.
(Except for the Korean remake of Living Dead At The Manchester Morgue, but that's rather obscure).

Can anyone honestly mention a good remake here ?

Night of the Living Dead, the 1990 version is a good, if not better than the 1968 version IMHO.

Sorry, but the 1981 Clash of the Titans is a million miles from 'amazing'. Its at best watchable but very cheesy, a waste of a very good cast. And I say that as someone who sat in the cinema in 1981 and watched it.

Point Break (1991). Apparently this is considered now a modern cult classic, personally I think it was and is dreadful. Risible story, bad acting.

Worst movie ever has GOT to be "Red Zone Cuba" by Coleman Francis. Was given the treatment it deserved by the MST3K folks. A close second is "Manos - the Hands of Fate".

Watched another one the other night, Werewolf of Washington. I love a howling good film but this one had me whimpering with my tail between my legs. It was so bad and corny I would of been better poking my eyes out.
