I do like (though not love it) but the extremley filthy vulgar launage somehow makes it work sadly, as it'd not work without that half as well, so in a way that makes it cheap 9as well as the clonned laughing) but parts of it have been very good and enjoyable I think O.P

Mmm... sorry but i hate it, i was dragged to the theatre a few years ago to see this claptrap, it was before the tv show had been commissioned, it was just awful but i had to watch the whole thing as it was a treat for my mam who had assured me it was hillarious (she had gone six months earlier).
What i found particularly annoying and quite cringe inducing was the way the cast were trying desperately to "connect" with the audience by sniggering every two minutes like naughty schoolkids who just nicked the teachers board duster, anyhow it's been very popular so i'm clearly in the minority.

I like it, it's daft fun but the cast are well aware of this & play along with it.

Da Movie wasn't so good, probably because opening up things removed the cosiness of the TV setting.

Though it does homage the film versions of sitcoms which were common in the 1970s, where the storylines had to be expanded to 90 minutes & bigger budget allowed for a lot more location filming.

Appaling drivel, and the film was just as bad. The worst thing about this sorry excuse for a nepotistic sitcom is the tedious repeats the pathetic Beeb keep insisting on showing.

I cannot stand Mrs Browns' Boys and I find it hard to believe it's been voted the best comedy of the 21st Century so far. Can't think why as it's so pathetic.

I would not go as far as to say I can't srtand it but it is vile and vile Blue klingo with that "awful clonned laughing" that turns a below par average joke into a really good one - which does'nt work I think

I am all for a bit of Blue Lingo (not over the top) and swearing but only if it has a good plot to it - like at least Cartherine Tate had to it and Lirttle Britain too - though that was'nt filled with Swearing and Blue Lingo etc

I watched it once for about 15 minutes and that was more than enough for me. If that is considered the best then that says a lot about the current state of 'comedy' on our TV screens.

A lot of the humour is generated when the cast start going off-script & confusing the other cast & crew.
