Every morning when I wake up, life just feels so surreal these days.
Coronavirus has changed things for good - that's for certain and isn't necessarily a bad thing. Good riddance to my miserable rail commute to an office in the city for example.
This apparent drift towards an Orwellian nightmare though, where we are being told what to think and historical statues and the nation's best-loved comedy series are being expunged (I see Fawlty towers has fallen foul of the thought-police now) is just too weird and downright disturbing for words.
At least where iam restrictions have eassed a bit with all non essential retail opening from friday past and over the nxt few weeks other parts of economy will open.
Its near impsossible to get the balance rite.
My local politicians are only back in jan this year.

The notion that it was caused by imported European salmon is laughable ..
As regards the two Brits taking it to New Zealand I’d take that as typical nonsense ‘paper talk’ given the New Zealand chief was live on Sky yesterday saying they were a week or so into their trip and could have picked up the virus anywhere between the UK and New Zealand even the airplane or airport when landing ..
So British scientists have discovered that a long established drug called dexamethasone which is used to treat several ailments can also be used to combat covid-19, seems a cure was right under our noses all this time, apparently 5000 lives could've been saved if we had realised this earlier
