China should ban those revolting "wet markets" immediately, along with many of their bullshit "medicines" .

Quite apart from the human cost, I guess this will severely impact the cruise holiday business. Who wants a holiday on a floating Petri dish?

I read a horrible story that they were going around China with a truck culling cats & dogs

I’ve seen reports where some of China’s most respected doctors and specialists have died despite being young and healthy and after receiving the BEST possible treatment !!

They were on the front line but that’s kinda scary ..

There was an young English bloke interviewed on telly a few days ago and it was refreshing to hear him say that he’d rather stay over there until he was cleared rather than be flown over to the uk now as it was just being selfish .

My niece works on a cruise ship which is currently in Australia, it was supposed to be going to singapore and asia next. As her's is the biggest ship it's been re-routed on another cruise around europe as the numbers just aren't big enough to warrant it going to asia, due to nobody wanting to go there!

Singapore Airlines have cancelled heaps of flights due to infected areas and lack of travel. Worryingly I have booked a trip home to the UK in July via Singapore (airport only) so am really hoping everything is sorted then as i might have to cancel our trip to avoid my family getting sick, especially as my elderly parents have lung issues anyway.

A guy I work with his parents live in Wuhan, he said they're actually quite enjoying not having to go out and aren't worried.

Certainly the Chinese were slow to respond to the reports from the doctor in China who first reported it.

Supposedly the virus can only survive out of a body for 24 hours, & I'm sure everything is disinfected afterwards.

They are using Holiday inn Heathrow Airport as a quarantine,no way I would want to stay there in the future.Scary times ahead is it a Chinese cover up

How come when there were just a few cases of the bug they locked down a couple of cities but now thousands are dying every damn country is jetting their own ‘contaminated citizens out of China ( or cruise ships ) and flying them back to their own country??

What happened to containment and confinement ffs !!


Apparently every plane / coach / hotel / hospital they’ve been in contact with will be contaminated through their air conditioning units ..so it will spread like crazy ..
