As it's Christmas and because of the difficult year we have just had, and also because I have more money in the account than usual due to not going out as a result of the lockdown, I have ordered a CD player with some CD singles which should arrive either side of Christmas (the presents I get these days aren't as good as they use to be, so I thought I would treat myself). I like female acts, and so I chosen singles from the likes of Girls Aloud, Lene Lovich, Cyndi Lauper and Toni Basil. For the record, I am already listening to them on YouTube before I get my "portable" version of those songs.
