  • Thinking about quitting

After four years and over 4,000 posts on this forum, I am thinking about quitting.

I took time off last year due to the coronavirus pandemic but came back after a few months, but now as I am rather stressed and have enough on my plate with regards to everyday life, I am thinking about taking another break at least. I do feel that I need to step back and focus on life in general. I have enjoyed it here but there comes a time when one has to move on.

I shall hopefully pop back from time to time to see how everyone is getting on. There are some great people on here, but at the end of the day, life and the world outside is a lot more important.

I hope it's a case of "see you later" rather than "goodbye", but I need to focus on myself and how I feel at this moment in time.

I've everything I need to keep me satisfied
There's nothing you can do to make me change my mind
    I'm having so much fun
    My lucky number's one
    Ah! Oh! Ah! Oh!

Yeah, i'm almost a spectator at present as i find the topics have been done to death and recent ones (the past 6 months) are mundane to the point i would rather just pop in and out having very little to contribute or take away. I think and hope it's a phase ...all the best George.

We will miss seeing you about, but once you've had your say on all topics of interested, added your own memories there is not an awful lot else to do!
Apart from wait to see if newbies bring anything fresh....Unless you are a gameplayer/members lounge fan.

Take care and don't be a complete stranger

Between this site and the Repair Shop program I've had a lot of memories refreshed, you never know who might bring in or post something that will connect a circuit to the past. I wish it were busier but there doesn't seem to be pressure to keep up too much, more of a drop-in center for nostalgia?

        Best wishes always George!
