  • UK chart archive

Great site for UK charts at Everyhit.com and it goes back to 1952. I have used it many times over the years to look up a song that I couldn't remember the artist or to just stroll down memory lane.

I use it all the time, but the main problem with the charts compiled on that website is that they split months into three parts: the early; the mid; and the late parts of the month, unlike weekly charts, and of course, it only goes up to around 2012 - I prefer the weekly chart archives. It does make things a bit difficult when searching for a certain date, and it can differ to the actual charts on that date. There used to be a website called Chart Stats which did a full list of each week's charts along with pictures of the singles covers and chart positions in a graph, but sadly, the owners had to take it down due to copyright issues.

Officially, The Official Charts website do that, and there's a lot of information on there which Chart Stats used to have - a very good source indeed.

Welcome to DYR, by the way.
