Does anyone remember a band called 'goldie' who sung a song around '78 - '79 called either 'Making Up Again' or 'breaking Up Again'? There was another band called Golie that came later, so it's not them I'm referring to. Anyone?

Tyhanx for the link Huggie. I just watched it and was trasnsported to when I was still in secondary school aged about fifteen. My older sisster used to have the record then it disappeared but I always remembered it but wasn't sure if it really existed. wow! Did'nt picture the band to look like they did then.sigpicAndyGrandaComment

Hi all 3 years down the track , just joined forum hope your all still lovin your music. Goldie were from newcastle and did have a couple of hits. pete macdonald was the front man and he still gets around the clubs in the north east. unfortunately when fame found them they split and formed various other bands performing in clubland. dave black guitarist formed 747 and he is also still doing the rounds as a solo artist.
