Always liked AC/DC they were a good laugh, not so good now though, perhaps they should call it a day?

A list of bands from Australia and still no love for The Saints? For shame!

                    Re: Bands from Australia

Yep, Sherbet sang 'Howzat' and had loads of other hits here. They had to change their name to 'Highway' when they toured the US. Of course they changed their name back when they got home to Oz

Crowded House in the 80s were mainly Australian. Neil Finn is a NZers. Paul Hester and Nick Seymour are Aussies. Sadly, Paul Hester committed suicide in 2005. Very sad

I see, there was also an American in Crowded House at one point.

Yep, after Paul left as drummer in 1994...the US drummer joined. Neil's Brother Tim Finn also used to pop in now and again. But for me, the real Crowded House will always be Neil, Paul and Nick.

I remember Sherbet, in particular their singer, Daryl Braithwaite. I love his solo albums, "Edge" from 1988 is one of my all time favorite albums.

I also had a bit of a soft spot for a single called "Most people I know think that i'm crazy" by The Aztecs. If my memory is correct they were an Aussie band.
                          Old enough to know better...
