The Smiths - Well I Wonder (On the B side of How Soon is now) Not better but just as good!

McCartney's Sally G." was better than the "A" side "junior's farm."

I doubt anyone's heard of this, but..........
Kings of Pressure's B side 'You Know How To Reach Us' is far better then the A side.

Dare I say it but I thought " I Wanna Be Me" on the B side to "Anarchy in the UK" by the Sex Pistols was equally as good ....

Re: B.sides you thought were better then then the A.side

A lot of early Siouxsie and the Banshees B sides were pretty good, such as Pulled to Bits (Playground Twist) and Love in a Void (Mittageisen).

The B side of London Calling, Armagideon Time, was as good as the A side imo.

Blood Money and Poison Door by The Sisters of Mercy were both better than their respective A sides

The b side of 'This Wreckage' by Gary Numan was a piano instrumental called 'Photogragh'............which i thought was better tbh.

B-sides to most of Adam & The Antz singles were better than the poppy A-sides
There is a good compilation of them called B-Side Babies

Most of suzi quatro's B sides are better than the A sides. The B side to 'Daytona Demon' (Roman Fingers) is fantastic. The album 'A's B's and rarities' is a good way if discovering them.

Though I love Lady Eleanor by Lindisfarne, the B side is fabulous too & with a great title. Nothing but the Marvellous is Beautiful. One of my fave song titles & some great lyrics. Also T Rex B sides were nearly always great songs too, Lady, Cadillac, Baby Strange, Thunderwing, Raw Ramp & of course, Life's a Gas (I Hope it's Gonna Last ;~)

Then give up - there's no point in being a damned fool about it" .... W.C. Fields

I only bought Bowie's single 'Sorrow' for the far better b-side of his brilliant cover of Jacques Brel's 'Amsterdam'.

All the singles off the first Duran Duran album had otherwise unavailable songs on the flip side which were better than anything on the LP; Late Bar (Planet Earth), Khanada (Careless Memories) and Faster Than Light (Girls On Film).
There is no beauty here, just the stench of wine and beer.
