"Sing Me" - The Brothers (circa 1977)

It featured on Opportunity Knocks (presented by Hughie Green on Monday evenings and produced by Thames TV), as well as at least once on Top of the Pops on BBC1. As far as I can remember it got as high as number 8 in the charts. After that I never heard it again on TV or radio. A couple of years ago I Googled for it and found it on YouTube. Does anyone else remember this song?

I'm glad you mentioned Jeans On by David Dundas, as I used to absolutely LOVE that record!!! I remember playing the single over and over again on my old top-down record player. Along with ABBA, Jeans On features very prominently in my recollections of the hot summer of '76.

Do you remember that David made a follow up to Jeans On called Another Funny Honeymoon, which charted in April 1977, but I don't think got as high in the chart. I believe he had royal blood in him too, according to what the Radio 1 DJs used to say.

I went to the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa last year, and 'Dolce Vita' by Ryan Paris was seemingly everywhere. It was playing on the radio in a service station just east of Brussels, and it played at least twice over the PA system at the circuit itself during the weekend. It became the anthem of the whole trip.

Really? I haven't heard it on the radio stations in my area for years.
