Re: Seventies Songs You Never Hear Anymore
Thanks for the kind words, Darren. I really enjoyed compiling those long-forgotten songs. I grew up listening to all those tunes on the radio, and actually the 60s/70s are my particular favourite eras for music. I never get tired of listening to songs from that era, as every song had a catchy tune, unlike much of the tuneless dross of today.

Re: Seventies Songs You Never Hear Anymore
From the '70s -
'Girls, Girls, Girls' - Sailor
'That Ain't No Way To Treat A Lady' - Helen Reddy
'Wow' - Kate Bush
Not strictly keeping to the subject, but some '80s ones -
'My Oh My' - Slade
'Brother Louie' - Modern Talking
'Sunshine On Leith' - The Proclaimers
'Crazy' - Icehouse

Someone mentioned Making Plans For Nigel by XTC. 6Music play it all the time. It's either that or Senses Working Overtime because XTC only ever recorded those two tracks and nothing else according to DJs for the past twenty years.

Re: Seventies Songs You Never Hear Anymore
Problem is that almost all of the radio stations, including oldies stations, play the same dozen songs all day.
