Whatever Happened To Peter Skellern?

Does anybody know whatever happened to Peter Skellern? He made some great records in the 70s, then just seemed to vanish into obscurity.

Here are my fave ditties of his:

1. You're A Lady (around 1972/73, I think)
2. Hold On To Love (early 1975)
3. Hard Times (Summer 1975)

I think he sang a theme tune or 2 in the 1980s-90s.

His version of She is quite good.

As we know the memory of certain songs can place you in a specific location. I remember You're A Lady was playing when I first went with my Mum to this new 'hypermarket' that had opened in Caerphilly called Carrefour. I'd never been to a shop that sold things like records as well as food and cleaning products and played music whilst you shopped too. All very exciting to me. Whilst Mum shopped I browsed the records including I remember Catch Bull At Four by Cat Stevens. I think the supermarket is still located in the same place but is now an Asda........but could be wrong as I haven't been to Caerphilly for about 25 years!

His version of She is quite good.

Oh yeah, come to think of it, he DID sing a few theme tunes in the 80s. The one I remember most is "My Girl and Me", which was the theme to the Richard O'Sullivan sitcom Me and My Girl.

Yes that was a marvellous theme tune. So sad to see what has become of Richard O'Sullivan nowadays though.
