Kenny Rogers - 'Coward of the County'. Not heard it though. Any earlier in that month and it could've been 'The special' by The specials...Not sure which song title I'd prefer...

    Roughly 5 months earlier and I could've had Gary Numan's - Cars

Single at Number 1 on the day I was born was Sandie Shaw's 'Puppet on a String.' The Monkees had the Number 1 album, 'More of the Monkees'.

Your birthday is the whole of 1956?

A month and date would be handy

July 18th; 1975, and a bloodied Secret Lemonade Drinker was born screaming to the world. No 1 in the charts? Give a Little Love - Bay City Rollers.

Mother, why could you not have kept me in for another 2 weeks? Then I would have been born to Barbados - Totally Tropical.

    Which is even worse...

I usually lie and say it was "Love Grows" by Eddison Lighthouse but as nobody on here knows me I'll tell the truth and say "Wanderin' Star" from paint your wagon.
