    Please don't think any less of me for this, but the UK number one single on the day I was born was:

    Woman in Love by Barbra Streisand (it was taken from an album called Guilty; which I view as an indication of the fact that it was a 'criminal record' - bad joke I know but I had to...).

    In my defence (no pun intended this time) I would just like to point out that I didn't buy the damn thing... I was too busy being born and all to get down to the local music store that day that I might have secured myself a copy.

    Having said that, my dad probably has one somewhere...
