I thought I would mention that Pick of the Pops on Radio 2 did the chart for the week I was born on 31st August - I think that it was the first time that they had done 1978 for that particular week. Three Times a Lady by the Commodores was played as scheduled.
Listened to it in Wales when I had my birthday break.

I love the idea of finding out what tune topped the charts on your birthday—it’s a great conversation starter! If you’re into music, or just curious about nostalgia like me, it’s worth diving into some of those classic hits from the past. Speaking of which, if you want to stream those tunes or discover more hits from back in the day, you might want to check out an IPTV UK service. You can access tons of live music channels, old performances, and even music documentaries to really get a blast from the past!
What was yours, by the way? Carl Douglas' "Kung Fu Fighting" is a funky one!
