Best: ANYTHING by Tears For Fears
No One is to blame-Howard Jones
      Take On Me-Aha
Anything by Michael Jackson but especially Billie Jean
      Sweet Dreams-Eurythmics
Mexican Radio-Wall of Voodoo (I know it's bad to some people, but I sort of liked it)

      Worst:
The UNANIMOUS Billy Ray Cyrus song
Ice Ice Baby-Vanilla Ice (even though I still know the words to it)
One In A Million-Larry Graham (that song still makes me nauseous when I hear it)
      Rock Lobster-B-52's
I'd rather hear the bad truth than a good lie

        Best : hard to call.
Worst : Total Eclipse of the Heart ( Bonnie Tyler ). Tried too hard to be about ten other songs, most notably a women's Bohemian Rhapsody .
        Corniest : Orville's Song
Into the 5th Millennium & beyond...!

Sigue Sigue Sputnik. Over hyped, over dressed, and over the top. Just ****.

80's songs are like sex & pizza. Even when they are bad, they are still pretty good!

Speaking of which, Wired For Sound by Cliff Richard not the best song off the shelf but I love it!

Re: Best & Worst Songs Of the '80s

I don't know about other members but I really really rate the New Romantic Era of Haircut 100 and Spandeau Ballet and the ska era to alesser extent. Groups like Spandeau Ballewt and the Kemp Brothers never truly got the regocnition they deserved I thought and got un-fairly tagged as being quite bland with amny a song after a while listening.

I could listen to this Music, all day I feel. Song's like Through The Barricades and Gold by Spandeau Ballet were great i think and under-rated, as was like Don't You Want Me, by the Human Leauge and like The Sun Only Shines On Tv BY HaHa! They are all true classics that don't get paid notice for I think.

In my mind the two songs that really says 1980s:

                                Devo -- Whip It

                                Harold Faltmeyer -- Axel F
                                (Beverly Hills Cop Theme)
