Help With A Song

Does anyone know what the name of the band that the father of Jack Ryder (Jamie Mitchell in Eastenders) was in AND what was the name of their biggest (possibly only) hit single? I think it was from late 70's or early 80's and was possibly used in the soundtrack of one of the Grand Theft Auto playstation games.

the band you are looking for is wang chung and jack ryders father was called jack hues. Not sure about the single though but you may be able to find out here
