  • Vague description of a song I heard once ages ago?

Sometime in the '90s, I was listening to Danny Baker's Saturday morning programme on GLR.

He played a song by what sounded like a late '70s, white, male band. Just guessing that!
All I remember of the song are the words "like I dooo, like I dooo". https://nox.tips/

    Does it ring any bells?

Could it be "But I do, But I dooooo" instead?

This is going to bother me until I pin down the song where I think I have heard that "like I dooo, like I dooo" lyric. I'll report back if I do come up with anything.

I'm back... the song I'm thinking of, which might not to be the answer to the question, but also might be, is by Canadian rock/pop group The Pursuit Of Happiness and titled 'She's So Young' on a CD album that came out in 1988.

Here's the chorus... elongated dooo and all

        "She's so young
        She's got the answers,
She doesn't need to question herself
Like I dooo, like I dooo

        She's so young
        She's got the answers,
She doesn't need to question the world
Like I dooo, like I dooo"
