cant remember the title of the song

Ok can anybody help, its a song i heard years ago somebody was booming it out late at night but i really liked it all i can remember was that it was a slow song and in amongst the lyrics were " 9am on a new york subway" that is all that i can remember.

Heres another one thats bugging me!!! a song with the lyrics come with me and we'll fly.... it was a woman i'm sure early 80's i used to hear it at the fair i dont think it was in the charts but then again i'm not sure.
