Was Super Striker the one where you pushed the little button to make the players kick? If so, I had that one too. Always wanted Test Match but never got it.

I remember knocking quite a few heads off playing that I think thats why I went onto subbuteo as it was hard to get replacement players.

Maybe I had normal Striker then, coz I only remember there being 2 outfield players on each side, plus a goalkeeper. Only one of the players on each team was able to chip the ball coz his foot was shaped like a scoop, the other one had to kick the ball along the ground.

And my one had a button behind the player, rather than pressing his head.

Hmmm.......none of those look like what I had, my field was a lot bigger than that. I must have had something completely different. Another thing, the ball was half white and half black to decide who's turn it was to kick.

That does sound like a different game, the balls were solid hard white balls if i remember correctly. Bloody hell ive just gone back to what must be christmas 1977 or 1978 and getting super striker

I remember whatever the game was that I had, I got for Christmas 1984. A good Christmas that, I'm pretty sure it snowed for that one too.
