Re: mastermind
It had no connection at all with the TV quiz.
The picture is supposed to represent a James Bond type villain with his girl assistant/ bodyguard. A criminal mastermind, get it?

i liked the tv show ok.
Maybe for some reason they where not allowed to do a mastermind game based on the tv show so thats why they made the one pictured in previous posts.

Re: mastermind
According to the TV Cream Book Of Toys he was a hairdresser called Bill Woodward who did some modelling on the side.
As far as I know he's still around & was interviewed for a programme on toys a few years ago.

Re: mastermind
Is this the same game as the tv show with magnus magnusson it sounds nothing like it.
Originally posted by wickerman View Posti always found the word version harder, because it had to make sense! It was like soduko in a sense: Once you could master it, it could become rather tedious.
I suppose the only way i can think of making it slightly interesting would be to play say 10 games (alternating between code-maker and breaker), and play for a quid an attempt, and at the end win or lose a few quid.

Re: mastermind
It always created arguments when someone brought it in for toy day at school (last day at school before christmas) as some played that reply pegs had to be in order and some didn't, it was carnage...CARNAGE I tell you.
