          Re: T.V annuals

I've still got a few Beano ones from the 1980s-90s, used to have some more but went in a charity bag years ago.

My brother's kept a lot of Shoot & Match ones from the same period.

One odd thing about some comic annuals was the books kept coming out each year long after the comics went out of print. Fleetway seemed to do that a lot.

My aunt has tried to collect a full run of Brownie annuals, but for some years the print run was very small & the books are worth a bit.

My Gran has a few soap related ones from the 1980s.

Easiest thing to get a kid for Christmas, those things. I remember getting an Incredible Hulk annual, The Professionals, Logans Run, The 1979 Sweeney annual, Blake's 7... Wow, that site is awesome!

'Television Cartoon Annual' sounds like a dynamic read!

I have several more on there than I remembered. Forgot about BJ and the Bear having one as well.

That's a great site. The earliest i remember receiving for christmas is Pellephant 1973. There's others from the late 60s/early 70s that I was given by a friend of my Gran like James Bond 1969. I used to get loads of annuals every christmas and remember getting Dr Who and Shiver and Shake every year between 75 and 79.

For years I had a Thunderbirds annual (1966 I think it was). When my parents sold their house and moved to a flat they gave it to a charity shop. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!! I found out later that it was probably quite valuable.

I used to have a Paul Daniels Magic Annual. I collect old annuals if they're of TV programmes I'm interested in. I've got three 'The Sweeney' annuals, a 'Professionals' one from '83, 'Minder', two 'The Dukes Of Hazzard', 'Tales Of The Gold Monkey', 'Street Hawk', 2 'Knight Rider', several 'Grange Hill' and 'Blue Peter' annuals, mainly from the early '80s.

There are some great new compilations as well, like the 'Look-In' best-of the '70s and '80s ones, and the 'Smash Hits' '80s edition.

                          hi mate.

so do you buy them from ebay as well mate.
i can imagine the older ones go for good money.

half of those things i never knew had annuals.

the look in best of the seventie and eighties ones sound good to me.
                          What things do they cover.

i knew knight rider and grange hill had them

for GH they must have done an annual every year one for each season.

so have you got ever GH annual ever relerased.
