Are they now just something found in the past? Ever been in one or depended on one?

I remember seeing them on the road once in awhile in the late '70s into the '90s, but with the cost of fuel I'm thinking they're now among the list of services that can no longer be afforded.

We used to get a mobile video shop in our area, in the early 80s. A Blockbusters in a coach, so to speak. Literally a coach stuffed with pure dodginess. My fear and love of slasher films was born...I've never looked back, since. Which is ironic, because that's how slashers get you, from behind.

They used to come my primary school. The whole class would take a walk to the school playground during lesson time, and we would go into the library in groups of four or five. It fascinated me. Just like the mobile grocery that used to stop outside my nans house — an actual grocery shop in a van. Marvellous

A mobile library or grocer could make for a great playset for Lego, Playmobile or Sylvanian Families!

I am certain that there was a double-decker bus which was a mobile library inside and had snakes and ladders sort of designs on the side of the bus. It used to go around my neighbourhood once every three weeks or so, and it was for kids to exchange libvrary books as if they were going to an actual library. Usually children's books. I believe that there were toys there as well. This could have been as late as 1989-1990.
