Can anyone remember the small animals mostly bears I think that hung on your clothes, the feet would prise apart the cling shut on your school tie or jumper? they were made of that plastic coated furry stuff.

yes thats them,thanks for finding them,I was starting to think i'd dreamed them up. It was one of the few toy's we got away with taking to school,I think they came in different colours to, who ever said they hurt if you clipped them to your nose was dead right, we'd put them on our ears to, ouch!Heather

I am unsure about Bears (though I can recall Lapels, sorry i'm struggling to think of another name as close as possible, or this is what we called them in my when they were trendy and in etc) that could easily of been Bears. They were loads of them in my day ... whatever was "in2 was a Lapel as such I recall. Many at my school had vast differing ones. Sorry again if I could not find another word close to resembling something similar to a Lapel.

Younger sisters used to collect these things.They had a piece of braded fabric hanging up in their bedrooms full of thes toys clipped to it.They mostly wore them on their bags as Jacqueline mentioned,or sometimes on the outside edge of their school blazer collars.They seemed to have had all types of furry animals in all colours including blue and pink.Must of been around the early to mid 1990's.
