Popples!!

Popples were awesome, Teddy Ruxpin, and I had a Mother Goose as well which was a massive goose you popped a tape in under her wing and her eyes, beak, and wings moved.. Awesome.

Also, a dog on wheels.

Mine was fairly plain too, not as fancy as the pic. I can also remember using an old cotton reel with nails sticking out at the top!

I remember Nan having at least one knitting doll, not anywhere near as fancy as the ones pictured, this was more like an old wooden peg doll with what looked like two screws in the top of her head.
