i found it hard to choose between lego and sticklebricks hrs and hrs and hrs of endless fun.

only bad point if u call it that is it can be tough to remove one bit from another if there is just two bits stuck together.

I had a plastic SAME tractor that was red and black and quite big in scale(roughly a foot long). It was a cheap market stall toy and it was Italian made. I played with it a lot and it had very realistic details and I was mortified when my dad accidentally stepped on it, squashing it completely. I seemed to have had quite a collection of Italian made plastic vehicles in the early to mid 1980s.

I liked my Raleigh Chopper.
But then again my Spacehopper was good too.

space hopper was brilliant i had many happy times with it.
it was an odd shape but it was class.
i had a chopper as well might be getting one soon.

My favourite toy was my Jogging Jenny Doll, she came with a blue and white jog suit on. I lost her when i moved house one year and cant find out about her anywhere on the internet

A remote control Beetle I had aged 8/9, red.

Not a brand name, and simple controls, but god I loved that toy.

i had loads of action man stuff -the actual figures and several vehicles i collected them from the age of about 6 to the age of 13 when i discovered girls
my favorite was a weird half motor bike half tractor type vehicle that was called a kettenkraftrad i had them stored in all their boxes for years then when with in weeks of moving my mother gave them all away along with around 10 years of NME`s and sounds magazines and several other books and magazine collections i had stored before having the chance to get them without asking me!!

you started collecting girls.

i had loads of star wars stuff,figures spaceships etc.

thats sad that your mum gave all those things away.
must have been heartbreaking mate.

did you try to get all those things again.

I had a Corgi Ultrasonic Wrecker. This was like a radio-controlled vehicle, only it worked with ultrasonic waves from a keypad. It was an American-style red truck with huge bonnet and a yellow crane winch on the back, and it had full functions although the two speeds it could go - slow, and slightly faster than slow hardly set the floor alight. It's party piece was to back up to a toy car, preferrably one of the large scale (1/24) ones, lower the crane, winch it up, and tow it away. I spent ages playing with that. Anything car-related got my attention though, and I was always playing with my Matchbox, Corgi and occasional Dinky cars.

One of my friends had a demon driver.

At one time lots of the girls at my school had chic a boos.

I remember the chicaboo craze. I never wanted one though, thought they were horrible little things!

My favourite toys were chic a boos. They were little monkey dolls that sucked their thumbs. I had one and an unusual bear one and too similar toys called gongas. (I've been collecting in my 'old age' though and now I have two chic a boos, two of the bears, and a whole family of gongas. A bit sad, sorry). My friends don't remember the chic a boos and think I've gone a bit potty collecting them but one friend remembers fuzzy felt.
