A Space 1999 Eagle shuttle. Notice how on every episode they crashed at least one Eagle. How many Eagles did they have?

You might be right, but Bessie is normally more associated with Jon Pertwee's time as the Doctor, Tom Baker used it in only 1 story IIRC.Originally posted by darren View PostId have thought it was from the seventies as tom baker is in it.
But perhaps your correct richard.

Re: Toys from TV series
I just remembered that around 1984/5 there was a big basket full of Star Wars figures outside a bargain discount shop in our town and they were selling them off for 25p per figure. I bought 8 different figures and gave them to our neighbour's two kids as their dad was very ill in hospital at the time and I thought playing with them might take their minds off it a bit. Think I also bought an AT-AT--the small two-legged thingy--for 50p not long afterward.
