Keypers

Do any of you ladies out there (and maybe some of the lads) remember Keypers? They were plastic animals that had compartments that could open, and you had a little key to keep them locked? There were many kinds; Penguin, snail, squirrel, princess swan, lady birds, the list goes on!
I had the princess swan and kept all sorts in it. If memory serves correct, each keyper came with a little friend called a finder, I think.

I had Sheldon for Christmas one year. They come up on Ebay all the time. I often think my Daughter would love them, what girl doesn't love a secret place for their secrets.

My sister had the princess swan, & I got in trouble for opening it up with the screwdriver blade on my penknife, which was the right size to fit into the keyhole!

Never had one but best friend did - the snail one. What I remember is the weird sweet smell of the plastic it was made from.
