Cilla Black for me. Couldn't sing, grating voice, hammed up the "working-class Scouse girl" persona but seemed to leave that life well and truly behind. Not a very nice person either, by many accounts. I've read that Gen Z kids are "discovering" her and wondering why on earth she was popular, and I have to say I'm with them!

The last week has also reminded me what a horrible whiff Jeremy Clarkson is, and always has been.

Cilla Black presenting Surprise, Surprise, I enjoyed, but when our Cilla presented Blind Date it was the thin end of the wedge as far as I was concerned. Ironically, as someone who is "not currently in a relationship" I would have been eligible to appear as a "contestant" on that show, but I hated the way that most of the 20-something female contstants dressed - it felt to me as if they were actresses in character as someone, and that the clobber they had got on seemed to come from the LWT wardrobe department.

Also, any celebrity called Stacey, or any variant spellings of that name.
