This is nowhere near the best ad of all time, just wanted to see if anyone remembers it...
There is a bloke and a woman in what I seem to remember as some kind of airport hanger (that may be totally wrong, but I was only a kid at the time!) and I think she might ask him for something (or something like that) and he recognises her name and says something along the lines of "I remember you, you were in my class" and she says "No, I was your teacher". It was for Oil Of Ulay.
Sorry for the rubbish description. Anyone remember it?
Kia Ora (Ah'll be your dawg! boogie boogie)
Cadbury's Flake (especially the woman painting in a field)
Levis (Liar Liar - procession in New Orleans one)
Public Information Film (Eh Up Petunia it's smashed up a treat)
Dunlop Tyres (Velvet Underground's Venus in Furs and the guy in the gimp suit!)
The one when a black bloke has a pair of magnetic Shoes and hes walkin down the street and has money and stuff attaching to them, then a girl with a pair of braces on her teeth becomes attached to them and they get married. At the end hes stuck to the side of a Lorry by his shoes and hes screaming and his head bounces off a Lamp post, that was one of the funniest ones ever, It was only about 8 years ago if anyone else can remember this, or know what it was advertising or even better know a website i could see it again i would love to know.
I liked Frank Muir in the Cadbury's 'Everyones a fruit and nut-case'
I still remember the words to 'Milk chocolate Minstrals made to enjoy anywhere, any time you want to. Wherever you are whatever you do, take a bag along with you, Milk chocolate Mintrals made to enjoy anywhere.' which annoys my kids as I have to singe every time we buy some.
I also love the Heineken refreshes the parts . . . series and Leonard Rositer and Lorraine Chase in the Campari adverts.
