I remember in the 1990s I went to a screening of Tiger Bay in the Glasgow Film Theatre. A newly restored print of the film had just been released and to mark this occasion, there was a discussion with Hayley Mills afterwards. It was interesting to hear her talk about her film career, particularly her work with her father in Tiger Bay and the Family Way.

Anything with a star cast, even if it is British B-list actors.

I've watched The Family Way many times (directed and co-written by Roy Boulting and starring John Mills, Marjorie Rhodes, Hayley Mills and Hywel Bennett). I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it, particularly if you're interested in British kitchen-sink type dramas. John Mills and Marjory Rhodes are superb in their respective roles, giving fine performances and Paul McCartney wrote the film's score.
