Without even thinking, my favourite film of the 80s is The Empire Strikes Back with the following coming a close runner up

    Back to the Future
    Raiders of the Lost Ark
    Breakfast Club
    Ferris Beuller's Day Off
    Lost Boys
    Ghostbusters
    Gremlins

Just in case anyone is wondering why I don't include the Return of the Jedi...it just wasn't one of my favourites of the 80s!

Slys partner, Sgt Fox, was played by Billy Dee Williams.
Rutger Hauer played a jobbing terrorist called "Wolfgar"
His partner, Shakka, was played by Persis Khambatta who also starred in the first Star Trek film.
I have it on DVD but they've mucked about with the soundtrack.
Still a great film though especially the part in the NY Cable Car

    "Nighthawks"
Starring Sylvester Stallone, Rutger Hauer and Lindsey Wagner (Remember her?)

A roller coaster thriller and, IMHO, Sly's finest film.
