Oh yeah ur right i think everything is the eighties maybe the eighties is when both came out on vhs and thats why i have both as eighties films.

I could prob list at least 50 films and theyd all be tied as my joint fave.
    Return of the jedi.
    Halloween 3 s.o.t.w. Etc etc.

BBC 2 "screen 2" series of films were good, Space station Milyon keynes is a one that I saw once, maybe twice and though I have hardly any recollection of it now, just the name sets me back. I'd love to see some of those British 80's films and dramas again to see how they;ve aged and what reaction they'd get from a younder audience. One summer (entire thing now on youtube), Jonny Jarvis etc

This is really difficult as the 80's was a golden age for films and I dont think we realised how spoilt for choice we were. I have seen just about every film that has been mentioned but if I had to pick one it will be the Goonies. Still watch it now and have the uncut version on DVD that includes the octopus scene that was cut but still gets mentioned

just a note ..... I would have put Star Wars (episode IV) but technically its a 70's film
