Jack Wild is my cousin and he was a Lancastrian although everyone thought he was a Londoner. An amazing talent sadly gone. Does anyone remember Spring and Autumn with Jimmy Jewel? A short lived comedy starring Jack I believe.

Nobody has mentioned Van der Valk. It actually charted the theme to that.

The White Horses is very dear to those of us who were born in the early 60s and watched this on school holidays. Belle and Sebastian had a very weird tune. Does anyone recall that.

Another programme I have been watching recently that brings (ironically) this thread back to mind upon seeing this reply above by Victor is Birds Of A Feather (tho this has personal reasons too). Another brill 1 I have always loved (with irony) is One Foot In The Grave too!!!!!

                    SOME MOTHERS DO AVE EM.

THE THEME TUNE JUST SUITS THE SHOW AND FRANK.

Mr Rossi. It was shown on CITV on Fridays at quarter to 5. Franco Godi's theme song was beautiful.

"Mr Rossi what you want? To drive a fancy rocket car, to take a shower in Champagne, tuxedo Rococo, break the bank at casino?"

"Viva viva happiness, you have more than you can guess, viva viva happiness".

Highway to heaven, great opening intro but the show can sometimes be a bit depressing.

Great tune and show which dealt with a lot of normal everyday issues.

And did you know the piccolo notes making up the tune also spell out "Some Mothers Do Ave Em" in morse code?
