I'd pick crossbow. Which 80's and early 90's tv series would you bring back or reboot?

Re: Bring back... or reboot?
Reboots are difficult as they are always compared to the originals
they seem to work better on the big screen (spiderman , transformers , the hulk etc ) may TV series have tried and failed and some have been successful
If I could pick one to be rebooted on TV i would go for Blakes 7. if this was done in the right way it could be very goodAge is just a number - If yours bothers you stop counting

Re: Bring back... or reboot?
Our Friends In The North was superb! Absolutely superb. I'd be amazing to see what happened to Nicky, Geordie etc since the mid 90s - Maybe Nicky's now Jeremy Corbyn?! Which leads us of course to the Citizen Smith rumour, which has now - thankfully - been firmly quashed by John Sullivan's family. Clearly Robert Lindsay thought 'Corbyn' and saw potential to satirise, all well and good I guess, but it's a bit rich that he claimed he had 'unfinished business' with Wolfie considering he tried his best to distance himself from the role through the 80s and 90s
I agree Blake's 7 would be great for a reboot. Likewise Star Cops - basically shows that would benefit greatly now from CGI and from broader tastes in the viewing publicLast edited by Markxist; 13-09-2015, 18:46.https://www.change.org/p/the-bbc-repeat-your-treasure-trove-of-single-drama-such-as-play-for-today-and-screen-one-on-bbc4-now

Re: Bring back... or reboot?
I remember Dr Who Magazine had an interview with the creator of Star Cops Chris Boucher, who originally wrote it as a radio series, but the BBC thought it was going to be too simlar to Earthsearch so decided it would be better on TV, especially as it was around the time Dr Who was put on hold. The Trickster On The Roof
