Sorry I assumed this was about programmes made by Yorkshire TV rather than filmed there!

The Life & Times of Henry Pratt, for years I thought this was by Alan Bennett, but it was written by David Nobbs.

Not set in Yorkshire but produced by YTV all the same.

First Tuesday broadcast, as the name suggests. the first Tuesday of the month presented by Julia Sommerville.

The episode I remember most is 'The Magic Roundabout' where the film crew accompany Traffic police on the M25

Not been repeated since & so YTV say; not commercially available on DVD

Do you really believe the other side without provocation would launch so many ICBM's, subs and ships knowing that we would have no option to launch as well? It would break our MAD Treaty (Mutually Assured Destruction) not to mention the end of the world as we know it.

With the theme tune "The Lightening Tree"

Brilliant song along with the White Horses theme; the show imported from the then Yugoslavia, now Croatia

Jackie Lee was a very well respected singer in her own right and also acted as a session singer on various records, including 'Hey Joe' by Jimmy Hendrix. Elton John was at one time employed by her in her session group. Her two most well-known songs were probably the title songs for 'The White Horses' and 'Rupert' but Jackie also performed songs for the films 'Robbery' and 'Goodbye Gemini'.
